Buttered Side Up Blog went for a transitional blend of classic and industrial styles for her farmhouse kitchen. Like many homeowners these days, she opted to install a white subway tile backsplash from countertop to ceiling to create a cohesive and clean look.

Like this triangular tile below, geometric patterns with subtle texture use light and shadowing to its advantage to create an exciting appearance.
