2021 Kitchen Trend Roundup: What You’re Saving & Sharing

December 8, 2021 by EuroChef

The last month of the year brings about holiday cheer as family gathers from far and near. With 2021 coming to an end, we’re taking the time to reflect on some of our favorite kitchen designs of the past year that incorporate Verona Appliances. You may even find some design inspiration to bring into your own home! Below are our most saved and shared kitchens of the year, according to our Instagram.

Neutral & Ornate Palette

Built in 1905, the “Monster House” is a quaint Californian bungalow nestled in sunny Los Angeles. The kitchen was brought back to life with the help of a range similar to the current  Stainless Steel Prestige Dual Fuel Range and an open indoor-outdoor living concept. The space is decorated in warm neutrals of copper and wood, and is finished off with an ornate chandelier inspired by the outdoors.

Open Shelving for Décor… and Speed

In addition to warm neutrals, open shelving is also quite popular on Instagram. This concept lets well-used pots, pans and serving ware be displayed as part of the décor and within easy reach. Think about the seconds you’d save by no longer rummaging through a cabinet! This kitchen features a range similar to our 36” Prestige Gas Range in White.

Custom Cabinetry for Storage

It seems like there’s never enough storage in the kitchen. AHA! Interiors from Richmond Hill, New York installed a custom pull-out shelf to use every nook and cranny available. The owners now stash spices, oils and infrequently used cookware next to their 30” Gas Range. They even used a two-tiered lazy Susan to squeeze in more spices in the cabinetry.

Task Lighting

Task lighting can do wonders. It can provide additional lighting to help you keep an eye out for the perfect golden sear on a chicken thigh. Or, it can help ease tension on the eyes as you’re cleaning up late at night while the rest of the room is dim. This kitchen features our 36” Double Oven Range and Chefs Pak.

Matte Black Accents

White kitchens have been reigning supreme, but Andrea West Design of Burlingame, California adds touches of sophisticated color to this kitchen. Mixed metals, finishes and glassware displayed on the open shelving unit provide interest, while our 36″ N-Series Electric Range in Matte Black adds drama.
